CMCP 05 Construction Management Principles This course offers a sampler of the entire CM program. It provides the first introduction to the principles of management, construction industry roles and responsibilities and an overview of common project management tools. CMCP 10 Contract Administration This course introduces issues regarding administering construction contracts, including knowledge about legal hierarchy of contract documents, interrelationships, liabilities, typical contract challenges, chain of commands, warranties, and progress/final payments. CMCP 20 Cost Analysis & Bidding This course addresses the preparation of parametric and definitive estimates, cost forecasts and variances, bid analysis, and use of estimating software. CMCP 30 Project Planning & Management This course addresses the development/use of bar charts, CPM network diagrams, CPM calculations, resource loading and schedule compression, and the use of Primavera P6 Software. Program Offering Schedule The program and courses are offered through out the year, and the program can be completed as short as within one year. These courses can be taken in any order. CMCP05 & CMCP10: summer semester (May-August) and fall semester (August-December) Registration deadline for summer semester: April 30 Registration deadline for fall semester: August 30 CMCP20 & CMCP30: spring semester only (January-May) Registration deadline for spring semester: December 15 Program Cost & Registration Tuition for each course is $1,500 and the total tuition for the certificate program of four courses is $6,000.
