The Executive Budgeting and Finance Certificate (EBFC) is a Suite of 3 Certificates and 12 Units.
This certification course examines the practical applications of budgeting and financial decision making in global organizations. It prepares trainees for supervisory, managerial, and project leadership positions where financial and budgeting decision-making is required. Examples of job titles include managers, management analysts, cost estimators, operations research analysts, manufacturing, trade and transport professionals, logisticians, etc. The content is designed for both government and industry professionals. It is suitable for all industries and company departments.
Topics include investments, financial environments, financial markets, financial statements, reports, analysis, and evaluation, capital/personal budgeting, and decision making. The purpose of this course is to introduce trainees to the role of the global financial management at a business and personal life setting.
The instructor will provide an opportunity for the students to work on case studies and different scenarios related to global budgeting and financial
matters. Students will develop an understanding of fiscal and budgetary issues pertaining to leadership and innovation roles in a workplace.
Case studies and exercises will be given to simulate global problem-solving scenarios with financial and budgetary principles applied to help address real industry challenges. This certification will allow aspiring leaders working with budgets and financial decision-making, to thrive in a global setting.
